At 2134 hours Bedford Communications alerted Company 1Bedford1st due Company 5Forest2nd due and Company 13 to 3434 East Lynchburg Salem Turnpike for a structure fire. Bedford units arrived to find heavy fire showing from the roof of a two-story structure. Rescue 13 crews assisted Company 1 with overhaul before clearing to standby at Station 1 until Bedford units cleared the scene.
