At 1857 hours Bedford Communications alerted Company 13 and Special Operations Command to Dickerson Mill Rd to assist with a horse that was stuck in mud. Company 13 arrived to find one horse weighing approximately 1000 pounds laying in a field of mud and run off water. Crews worked trying various methods to pick up and remove the horse. Due to possible hypothermia and weakness the horse was unable to stand on his own. Crews had to roll the horse to a salvage cover before it could be moved to a close by barn.
