At 0450 Hours Bedford County Communications Alerted Company 8 1st Due Company 13 2nd Due Rescue 1 RIT to 1100 Pen Forest lane report of Structure fire with occupants still inside. Medic 14-8 Engine 131 arrived to find a single story residential structure with heavy fire from side Alpha Delta corner. Engine 131 with 6 Split there crew along with Medic 14-8 and Stretched two 134 lines. Chief 13 arrived and establish command. Engine 13 arrived and laid in with 5 to establish water supply. Rescue 1 arrived and established RIT. due to heavy fire load and limited water supply crews were forced to back out until tanker task force was activated. once water supply was re-established crews reentered the structure and fire was extinguished.brUnits operating E13-1 W8 R1 E13 R13 M14-8 T1 T13 T12 and County 10.
